In 2008 Steve Mulgrew was recognised by CILT as a Regional Trainer for the KS2 Framework for Languages, and became involved with a number of schools who were struggling to find suitable and affordable resources and support for non-specialist teachers. In particular there were difficulties with the QCA Schemes of Work, which provided very detailed step-by-step plans but lacked the resources to go with them.
Combining language teaching experience with expertise in educational ICT, along with a couple of trips abroad, the result is a set of interactive resources and teacher support materials for French and Spanish. Some teachers have asked for the same in German but the language is being taught in so few schools that we have no plans for this one at present.
All prices quoted refer to one-off full site licences, including home use by teachers for preparation purposes, and there are no subscriptions or renewal charges.
Following a successful launch at The Language Show in October 2009, these resources were on display at the CILT Primary Languages Show in March 2010, The Language Show in October 2010 and the Primary Languages Shows in 2011 and 2012. Several local authorities and regional support groups have invited us to demonstrate the resources at their conferences where we have always received a warm reception.
