Partner organisations

As an established provider of training and consultancy in education, we work with a number of partner organisations, a selection of which are listed below.

Association for Language Learning

ALL is the major subject association for anyone involved in foreign language teaching. Director Steve Mulgrew is a regular speaker on the subject of ICT in MFL at the Association's events in the North-East and further afield.

PurpleBerry Training

Established in 2011 as a co-operative of associate trainers, the PurpleBerry team have a wealth of experience in delivering quality training to the education, corporate and public sectors in the UK and overseas. All experts in their field, the trainers are able to work together on training projects which might otherwise be too large for one small company, meaning that we have the capacity to deliver whatever the clients need.

Creative Education

An established provider of teachers' CPD, Creative Education has over 300 courses to choose from among which is an extensive MFL portfolio. Many of these courses have been developed or updated by Orangery Education and we continue to play our part in the delivery of high-quality training.

South West Grid for Learning

The South West Grid for Learning is a leading organisation in online safety and is a key partner in the UK Safer Internet Centre. Steve Mulgrew is accredited to carry out assessments for the e-Safety Mark - an award judged against a stringent set of criteria - on behalf of SWGfL.

Discovery Education UK

Since the Espresso Group became part of Discovery Education in 2014, we continue to support delivery of school-based CPD for teachers using the popular Espresso primary service and the new Discovery Education Secondary product (a replacement for Channel 4 Learning's Clipbank resource). In addition to the delivery of targeted CPD, we contribute to the product development by advising on curriculum matters particularly in Modern Foreign Languages.

Widgit Software

Widgit have pioneered the use of symbols in learning and communication for over 30 years and their software is used around the world to create symbol-supported materials in print, onscreen and online. Key products include SymWriter and Communicate in Print. Orangery Education is part of a network of accredited trainers for Widgit products.

Osiris Educational

Orangery Education Ltd devises and delivers training courses for Osiris Educational, a trusted national provider of INSET courses for teachers. Recent contributions include a course entitled "Perfect Marking in MFL", which examines a variety of approaches to assessment and feedback in the subject whilst bearing in mind Ofsted requirements. We were also invited to present at a national conference on the future of Computing, which was hosted by Osiris.
